Day two draws special attention to the scientist I consulted with on the first movement, Dr Ashley Davies; volcanologist specialist from NASA/JPL, who helped convey the science and stories of the fascinating world of Io.

The photos of Ashley and I were taken at NASA/JPL in 2018 and features Ashley's incredible book 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗼𝗻 𝗜𝗼. THE MOONS SYMPHONY had just given a presentation to the Cassini scientists that day to share the creative process and how the science influenced the music and libretto in the symphony.

Thank you, Dr Ashley, for being so patient in walking me through the scintillating science of the most powerful moon in our solar system!
