In the 1970s, as soon as space probes started travelling across the asteroid belt into the realm of the gas giants, scientists would quickly discover a new Goldilocks scenario to consider, and the assessment of habitable worlds would change forever.

The Goldilocks zone had been a popular term to describe a planet's potential habitability and served as the traditional model to classify worlds thought to sustain life as being;
"Not 𝘁𝗼𝗼 𝗵𝗼𝘁, not 𝘁𝗼𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗱 but 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁."
The new frontier Spacecrafts were the first to challenge the old theory after discovering an abundance of moons around the gas giants, witnessing exotic activity playing out on these worlds.
Europa is of intense interest to scientists as the most promising habitable world that could contain microbial life.

The mechanics of a celestial dance and their unique orbit position explain these moons' specific activity. Like Io, Europa is in orbital resonance with its primary planet, Jupiter, producing producing tidal heating in the moon's interior.
And so, as the quest for finding life in our solar system intensifies, there is one substance above all that scientists hope to find; Water.
And Europa has leaked a trail of promising signs and has become one of the most promising moons in our solar system for alien life.
And NASA is responding.
