On the eve of our recording session tomorrow for the choral element that will complete THE MOONS SYMPHONY recording session, today we will enjoy the whole experience of the 7th-movement to celebrate the end of an era; the computer-generated score and the 12 voice COVID choir.

Watch the 7th Movement and "crowning moment" of THE MOONS SYMPHONY
Today's final blog will focus on some challenges this symphony faced during the creative process over the last five years, including the global pandemic and today, felt like the right moment to share a back story about the vocal element that currently accompanies the computer-generated score.
In April 2020, we hired twelve soloists from London Voices during the pandemic to sing the SATB vocal lines recorded from their independent studios to check that the parts were working. Initially, the MOONS SYMPHONY we set to record in December 2020 at Abbey Road Studios; however, but was cancelled due to the pandemic.
The EARTH MOON blog day five looked at the Apollo 8 mission, the political scene and times of great hardship for humanity in 1968 when the crew of Apollo 8 launched and sailed "𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙙𝙖𝙧𝙠 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙢𝙤𝙤𝙣 𝙧𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙘𝙡𝙞𝙢𝙗". (Lyric excerpt)
Indeed, over the last few years, humanity has faced enormous hardship on planet Earth, which was the backdrop to THE MOONS SYMPHONY as it was approaching its symphonic launch phase.
So it seems most appropriate that at tomorrow's epic recording session, we have the extraordinary voice of tenor soloist Daniel Koek to deliver this lyric;
𝘼𝙨 𝙬𝙚 𝙨𝙖𝙞𝙡 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙙𝙖𝙧𝙠 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙢𝙤𝙤𝙣 𝙧𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙘𝙡𝙞𝙢𝙗
This lyric drives the point home that even though there will be "dark" times and challenges in this world, if we stand together as a united species and uplift each other, we will find the inspiration for solutions to face those times of hardship TOGETHER.

We will record Daniels's powerful and majestic vocal line next to a SIXTY VOICE choir. This rich, epic choir known as LONDON VOICES (a sound synonymous with STAR WARS, HARRY POTTER, LORD OF THE RINGS) will finally replace the twelve voices currently heard in this music video.
Daniels's solo leads to the final chorus for "Earthrise." and will sing the following passage. (Lyric Quote)

Therefore, tomorrow will be a defining moment for this project since we can now finally stand together in a studio, side by side and sing this Anthem for Planet Earth; Earthrise united and together as musicians.
