Module I – Explore the Volcanic Moon Io
Founding Cohort Tuition: $2,500
Future Tuition: $3,500
Module I is the flagship entry point into LUNAR. It is a four-week, self-paced cinematic learning journey exploring Jupiter’s volcanic moon Io through the integrated lenses of planetary science, music, art, and reflective inquiry.
Module I – Overview
Module I is designed for depth rather than speed. It integrates NASA-led science-fact research with symphonic storytelling and creative synthesis, offering a rigorous interdisciplinary experience for learners who seek coherence, meaning, and sustained inquiry.
Across four Treks and 24 immersive chapters, participants explore Io’s extreme volcanic world while engaging with THE MOONS SYMPHONY™ through guided listening, score-based insight, and original creative reflection. This module is intentionally structured to move beyond surface-level consumption, inviting participants to think across disciplines and connect scientific understanding with artistic interpretation.
Module I – The Learning Architecture
Across four weeks, participants progress through four Treks and 24 immersive chapters of discovery. Each Trek explores a different dimension of Io’s volcanic environment, revealing how gravitational forces, geological processes, and musical interpretation interweave to form a unified scientific and creative narrative.
All scientific content within LUNAR is grounded in established planetary science and science-fact research, drawing on data and discoveries from NASA missions and the international planetary science community. These foundations are translated into an accessible interdisciplinary framework that connects observation, theory, and creative insight.
LUNAR is intentionally designed to slow the pace of learning. It creates space for sustained inquiry, reflection, and synthesis, allowing participants to engage deeply with complex ideas at their own rhythm.
By the conclusion of Module I, participants will have completed four Treks and 24 immersive chapters, developed a nuanced understanding of Io’s volcanic systems and internal dynamics, explored the relationships between planetary science, music, and narrative, engaged with THE MOONS SYMPHONY™ through guided listening and score-based insight, and created original reflective and creative work through the ORBIT portfolio pathway.
